These terms describe the permitted use of TENOK.org, operated by The Equality Network Corporation (“TENOK”). Please also read our Privacy Policy.

Our website

TENOK.org provides information about our organization, work, and ways to participate or give. We aim to make information useful and accurate, but content may change or become outdated. If you notice a mistake, contact info@tenok.org.

Website information is general information and is not individualized legal, tax, or professional advice.

TENOK Vote and official sources

TENOK Vote is a distinct information service with its own Terms of Use and privacy notice. TENOK is not an election authority. Official election sources govern registration, eligibility, deadlines, polling places, and ballot information. Visiting TENOK.org does not register you to vote or change an official voter record.

Using our content

You may read and link to public pages for lawful purposes. Rights in original TENOK content and branding remain with their respective owners, except where a different license or permission is stated. For permission to reuse content or branding beyond what applicable law permits, contact info@tenok.org. Do not imply TENOK’s endorsement without permission.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, impersonate another person, submit malicious code, or use the website to unlawfully collect personal information. You are responsible for information you choose to submit. Please do not send confidential material unless TENOK has agreed to an appropriate way to receive it.

External services

Other website and service operators control their content, availability, and practices. A link does not by itself imply endorsement. Review the relevant service’s terms and privacy information when you use it.

Giving

Review your donation amount, any recurring frequency, and any optional fee contribution before confirming a gift. Our Donor Privacy Policy explains donor information handling, including automatic enrollment in TENOK updates and fundraising communications and how to opt out.

Donation corrections and refunds

If a donation was duplicated, charged in error, or was not authorized, contact The Equality Network Corporation at info@tenok.org as soon as you notice the issue. Include your name, the email address used for the gift, the donation date and amount, and a brief explanation. Do not send full payment-card numbers or account passwords.

We review correction and refund requests based on the circumstances, the terms of the gift, and applicable requirements. We correct confirmed processing errors and consider other refund requests individually. A request does not guarantee a refund. Approved refunds normally return through the original payment method; payment-provider and bank processing times vary.

Canceling future recurring gifts does not automatically refund gifts already completed. This policy does not limit rights you may have under applicable law or through your bank or payment provider.

Canceling a recurring gift

You can cancel future recurring gifts by emailing info@tenok.org. Include your name and the email address used for the gift; the date and amount of a recent donation can help us locate it. No reason is required.

We will stop future charges once we receive enough information to identify your recurring gift, and send confirmation when cancellation is recorded. If a payment was already sent for processing before your request reached us, it may still complete. Contact us if you want that payment reviewed under our refund policy.

Canceling future gifts does not automatically refund completed donations. You may also have stop-payment or dispute options through your bank or payment provider. Do not send full card numbers, banking credentials, or passwords by email.

Availability and changes

We may update or remove website content and features. We cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every page will be error-free. We will post revised terms here with an updated effective date. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
